Message	Retrofitting an MR2 setup would just be another form of power steering. Taking off the PS belt will just result in extremely rough steering because it was designed to be hydraulic assisted. A true manual rack should yield better road feel, and lighten up the front end. You will often find that true race cars do not have braking assist either in order to achieve a more direct feel for the car.
